Now Offering Therapeutic Yoga Sessions!
Group and individual yoga sessions are back beginning May 19th at New Hope Counseling Group! Join us virtually every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month at 9AM ET for our virtual yoga group. These sessions are ideal if you are looking to incorporate yoga and meditation into your mental health support or self-care plan. We will engage in gentle asana (yoga poses), guided meditation, and will have time for group reflection related to mental health and wellness. The twice monthly yoga group will provide physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing while fostering a sense of community support on your mental wellness journey.
Shani Banks leads each of our yoga group sessions. She is a certified yoga teacher, certified meditation teacher, and licensed counselor. Shani believes that yoga can and should be accessible to everyone. She invites ease and gentleness into her classes while encouraging you to access your inner strength. Shani uses the principles of yoga along with anti-oppressive counseling techniques to offer holistic, intentional, and supportive classes.
